UPDF, SFC Make List of Top 50 Sustainable Development Agencies
The Ugandan army, Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF), Special Forces Command and the country’s ministry of defence have been nominated for recognition the 2016 – 2017 Uganda Top50 Sustainable Development Agencies.
Public Opinions recognise, award and accredit agencies which promotes and uphold international best practices such as respect for rights of workers,payment of taxes, supporting productive corporate social responsibility, quality products and services, environmental protection,employment and renumeration of Ugandans, compliance to NNSF and PPDA,Commitment to Zero-Corruption policy,committment to Uganda Vision 2040 and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Over 200 agencies from government, business sector, on Government organizations and international agencies have been nominated, according to Public Opinions International headed by Adam Luzindana.
Winning agencies will be placed in the 2017 Uganda Sustainable Development Factbook and will be accredited The Uganda Top 50 Sustainable Development Agencies.
