However it was the Kampala Central team that beat the other seven to the spot after coming from a goal down to defeat Makindye 2-1 in the finals. The team now is set to represent Kampala region at the national finals where the 10 regional winners will battle to become the 2014 City Tyres U14 Chenga challenge national champions from the 28th to 31st August , 2014 in Masaka.
The regional winners include; Alpha Soccer Academy of Masaka, Kids of Arua from Arua, Jinja TC U14 of Jinja, True Vine Soccer Academy from Mbale, Mbarara’s Sheema FC, Kitara Unite from Fort Portal, Emma Boys from Kabale, Lugazi’s SCOUL FC among others.
