The Head of Policy and Rulings in the legal directorate of Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) William Tumwine is back to office.
Tumwine had been suspended for sometime over alleged misuse of office. During his suspension, a search was conducted at his home where about 70 titles were found. An alarm was then raised and claims that he was corrupt were also lodged in.
Tumwine who a masters of laws from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) was then cleared by investigators. His bosses who thought he had run out of luck swallowed a humble pie and allowed the lawyer back in office.

  1. Is Kadaga trying to save face or just playing to the galally ? General Kaihura had called for a press conference where he boasted that it was him who approached the Presidential Protection Brigade to help the Sergent at Arms to prevail on the errant Members of parliament on that day ! Yet President Museveni was away on official tour.
The right person to explain should be Kaihura or the Brigade Commander !
