The video CDS are currently being examined by specialist officers who will also establish whether the video film was classified by the Censor Board at the Uganda Communications Commission.

We therefore, urge anyone who receives, possesses or finds the video film anywhere, not to view them because of the alleged inappropriate and violent content.

The police have so far recovered 20 video films, all of which are being investigated to establish the exact content, and associated risks, if at all.

We further call upon anyone who has received the video CD’s or has any information which could assist in our investigation to contact the police or pass it in confidence.

We will endeavor to keep the public informed of any significant developments as we appreciate their concerns.
