MTN Uganda handed over three more cars to winners in Buyende, Mukono and Kyotera last week. The three Toyota Premio cars are part of the weekly three cars for the MTN Nyabo Promotion.
The handovers in these areas mean that MTN has so far handed over twelve cars to twelve winners in the last four weeks. In Buyende, Ibanda Ben a farmer was excited to receive a car as it had been one of his dreams to own one.
“I am now fifty years old. I had built my house already and all I had been thinking of is owning a car. Now I have one thanks to MTN Uganda. I now need to learn how to drive,” an excited Ibanda said at his home in Kagulu, Buyende District.
In Mukono, businesswoman, Nannunda Mariam said she could not believe she was now a car owner since it was the last on her list of priorities.
“My plan had been to expand my business and also build a house. Then later on the car would be the next move. Now we have the car and that means we can now do other things knowing that we have a car,” Nannunda explains.
In Kyotera, an emotional Olivia Nangabi nearly collapsed on stage as she was being handed over her key. After nearly collapsing, she started crying. At her home in Buyamba, she said the only thing on her mind was to go to driving school and learn how to drive.
