Movit Products Limited (MPL) on Saturday took part in the Annual Nkozi Marathon that kicked off at Equator in Kayabwe and ended at Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi.
The run was graced by Prince Wassajja member of the Buganda Royal family as the Chief Runner and the various friends of Nkozi Hospital.
According to Robert Kitenda, the PR, Media and Advertising Manager MPL, Movit has supported this initiative for three years now going bigger each year and has assured the public that with their continued support Movit will keep pushing and supporting this cause.
Kitenda added that ‘Movit supports such activities not because we have a lot of money but because we are a company with a big heart and we care for our community”
“MPL has done a great work here today by supporting this noble cause and I appeal to the public to keep supporting “Bulungi Bwansi” initiatives and not to forget that as we come together to support this cause the government will meet along the way” Prince Wasajja said.
Nkozi Hospital is a private community hospital serving the town of Nkozi and surrounding areas of southern Mawokota County in Mpigi District.
It is located approximately 85 kilometres on the Kampala-Masaka Highway. Construction of the emergency and accident unit is estimated to cost sh2.8b with equipment worth sh1.6b.
Movit Products Limited awarded various runners with number of goodies, as a way of recognition for the outstanding participants at the run.
Movit Products Limited partnered with Nkozi Hospital to build the emergency and accident unit with UGX 27 Million shillings in 2018.
John Tumwesigye the Events and Promotions Manager Movit Products Limited also assured Ugandans that Movit will continue to support community based events as they are the cornerstone of our nation.
Tumwesigye urged the public to support the young generation for such initiatives because they are the future on our nation.
