As part of her official responsibilities, State Minister for Works and Transport – Hon.

inspection stations in the country.
Minister Azuba who was beaming with smiles, dressed up in the orange SGS safety
reflector jacket and toured Namanve Vehicle Inspection Station as this year's Tweddeko
caravan was being flagged off from the SGS headquarters in Namanve. The honorable
minister thanked SGS for hosting the event and for their continued dedication to road
safety in Uganda. Tweddeko, a road safety campaign that has received a nod from the
police traffic department and the National Road Safety Council, is aimed at reminding all
road users of their responsibility and it is important to note that one of the pillars of road
safety is vehicle inspection.
Tweddeko is a Luganda word for “let us reconsider our ways” or “let us change our
