Indian Int’l, Delhi Public Int’l Become One!

Barely few months after buying Delhi Public International School, the Ruparelia Group of Companies under the Chairmanship of Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia has once again acquired another school and it’s none other than Indian International School, Red pepper can exclusively report.

Indian International School has been one of Kampala’s top International schools based along Nakasero road and owned by Girish Nair.

However, last Saturday, Girish sold his school to Ruparelia Group at a ceremony held at Kampala Parents Main Hall that also saw the merging of Indian International School with that of Delhi Public International School.

During the merging ceremony, the Ruparelia Group Chief, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia revealed that all the pupils and students who have been attaining their education at the Indian International School (including their teachers), shall now be under Delhi Public International.

“We are going to retain some good teachers who have been at the old campus so that they can continue training our children at our new campus under Delhi Public School,” Sudhir explained.

Meanwhile, one of the school’s promoters, Rajiv Ruparelia disclosed that, all the children will be taught normally basing on the Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum to ensure quality education among others.

The East African number one billionaire becomes one of the Uganda’s businessmen to invest heavily in education besides owning Hotels, Banks, Insurance companies and real Estate businesses among others.

He currently owns Victoria University, KISU, Kampala Parents School, and now the Delhi Public International School.

Having become under one umbrella, the children will now benefit from marketable subjects like Communicative English, Second Language – Hind and French in all classes above Prep and Hindi / French in classes IX and X, Environmental Science (EVS), General Science III and above, Social Science III and above, Art and Craft till class X, Music (Folk, Classical, Western Classical) till class X, Dance (Indian, Folk, Classical, Western), Computers, Value Education, Physical and Health Education, Science (Medical and Non-Medical) to classes XI and XII, Commerce with and without Mathematics to classes XI and XII, Humanities with and without Geography to classes XI and XII, and at the Senior Secondary level.
