First Lady To Grace Chemeleone’s Concert

Uganda’s First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni has accepted to attend Jose Chameleone’s One Million concert slated for December 18 at Victoria hall, Serena Hotel Kampala.
In a letter dated December 1 2014, the First Lady acknowledged the receipt of Jose Chameleone’s invitation.
“I am communicating on behalf of the First Lady of the republic of Uganda to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 12th November 2014 inviting her to grace the above concert at Serena Kampala hotel on 18th December 2014,” reads the letter
The First Lady further acknowledged that she will attend the concert.
“I would also like to inform you that she has accepted to be present at this concert which is in part intended to raise support for the improvement of people’s lives in Karamoja,”
Part of the proceeds from Jose Chameleone’s concert will help in the construction of boreholes in Karamoja.
Janet Kataha Museveni is the state minister for Karamoja affairs.
