Forum for Democratic Change party leaders have threatened to file a case to International Criminal Court against President Museveni accusing him of ordering for the attack on the Rwenzururu kingdom palace.
While holding prayers for the victims of massacre on Thursday at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi, the leaders revealed that they are gathering evidence which they will present at the ICC to prosecute Museveni for alleged atrocities committed against Rwenzururu kingdom.
The prayers were attended by senior party officials including party president Mugisha Muntu, Dr. Kizza Besigye, leader of opposition in parliament Winnie Kizza among others.
Many of the speakers including Pastor Happy Ngabo, who was leading the prayers, criticized the regime for using excessive force which resulted into deaths of over 60 people.
The FDC leaders believe that there were other numerous ways the government could handle Rwenzururu issues other than attacking and killing people in the palace and arresting the King, Wesley Mumbere in a humiliating manner.
