Dont Go ‘Live’, Deputy IGP Kaweesi Adivses Students

Deputy Inspector General of Police Andrew Felix Kaweesi has advised students to reject irresponsible sexual behaviour and treat their reproductive health as top priority.

Kaweesi gave this advice while addressing students of Mbogo College Kaweempe on Saturday during the inaugural ‘Mbwaase’ activation that is part of ‘Get Yo Mix Out’, a sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDS campaign by Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU). The campaign aims at empowering young people to make informed decisions about issues affecting their sex lives and environment.

It was an action packed day for the students of Mbogo College who got the chance to listen to award winning Inspirational and Peer education Guru Humphrey Nabimanya, sex Talk from the RAHU team, creative skits and performances among others.

The ‘Mbwaase’ campaign which is set to go on though out the year will see the RAHU team carry out a total 30 activations in schools across the central region; Mpigi, Wakiso and Mukono.

This Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU) campaign is funded by MTV staying alive foundation in partnership with Reproductive Health Uganda, NTV Uganda, Rutgerswpf, Capital FM, International Health Sciences University, SIKIA media, Pablo Live and school times among others.
