Neither side has picked maximum points from the tie in Uganda’s topflight league having played to a 1-1 and 0-0 stalemates last season  respectively.

Bongole scored once as the Kawempe side picked their first three Uganda Premier League in a 2-1 win against Police on Friday at the Philip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

“We do understand what that team (Bul) can to any team in this league because they are a top half side and have a good coach. Maybe we have got a three points to prove on Tuesday, we know this year we have got to step up in the big games and get some results in them,” said the striker.

Stars and Bul are tied on four points after two games with Paul Kiwanuka’s charges sitting in 3rd while Kefa Kisela’s force from Jinja are 4th just behind on goals scored.

Meanwhile Coach Richard Makumbi is confident that SOANA FC can start producing more positive results.

SOANA haven’t won a match in the Premier League this season but have not lost by a margin bigger than one goal so far.

His side visits Namboole Stadium, their second straight game on the road to play giants SC Victoria University.

“The positive is that we are not conceding, but the negative is that we have missed six points from the quality of the games we have played. We have to avoid conceding while scoring instead and I think at some stage we will win,” said the boss.

SOANA on Friday fell to Stars’ two first half goals from Jimmy ‘Kacanga’ Kakooza and Anthony Bongoole being their second loss in a row after losing their opener to SC Villa.
