SPORTS MINISTER Charles Bakkabulindi on Friday showed support to the Uganda Cranes by giving each player Shs5m. The minister, who arrived in camp on Friday unannounced, handed over a package of Shs12m to FUFA Vice President in charge of technical matters Stone Kyambadde to be shared among players.
“This is a personal commitment from me to motivate you perform to the best of your strength,” said Bakkabulindi. The minister made a similar commitment to the Cranes when they were travelling to Zambia. The Cranes play Zambia on Saturday in the return leg of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. They trail the African champions 1-0 after a deficit suffered in Ndola last month.
