Uganda Holds Ghana In Tamale

Uganda Cranes and Ghana Black Stars have played to a goal-less draw at the Tamale Stadium in Northern Ghana.

The Cranes played gallantly from the first minute to the last whistle of FIFA referee El Fadil Mohamed Hussein from Sudan.

There was a half chance for Faruku Miya in the first half after being set up by Nico Wakiro Wadada following a lung bursting run down the right.

Solid team work display and goalie Dennis Onyango’s darling saves kept the Ghanaians silent for the rest of the match.

There were only three yellow cards given out. Nico Wakiro Wadada, Murushid Jjuuko and Aucho Khalid all were booked by the Sudanese FIFA Referee.

The team is now set for the home game against Congo Brazzaville in November 2016.

They return Sunday morning.
