Nsereko, Ssemujju In Deadly Verbal Exchange
By Serestino Tusingwire
Two legislators, Mohammad Nsereko and Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda are now attacking each other verbally after the former accused the later and Dr. Kizza Besigye, of being behind the pig protest at parliament last week.
The FDC did not take Nsereko’s accusations lightly prompting Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, the FDC spokesperson and the Kira Municipality MP, to accuse the Kampala Central MP of being a political double agent who opportunistically sides with both the NRM government and opposition whenever it suits him.
“Nsereko has been a double dealer; you can’t understand whether he’s part of NRM or whether he’s part of the Opposition. And let him be aware that by insulting and demonizing Dr. Kizza Besigye, we will all mobilize ourselves and he will have to pay for it.” Ssemujju responded to Nsereko’s accusations.
In response to Ssemujju, Nsereko said Ugandans are not held at ransom by either Besigye or Museveni for everybody to belong to any of two sides.
“I am happy, let them shift the battle to me, let’s leave parliament aside, am ready to take them on.” Nsereko angrily threatened.
The Kampala MP, Nsereko attacked FDC’s defiance campaign saying it was a failed stunt that never had any chance of achieving anything.
