Pastor Jessica Kayanja to address Uganda Convention in London

Pastor Jessica Kayanja, the founder and President of the renowned Girl Power Ministries will be one of the high profile speakers at the Ugandan Annual Convention in London on the 10th Sept 2016 at Troxy arena.

She will deliver a paper on Practical Empowerment Principles for Women in Business and why women should always be at centre stage, and occupy the driver’s seat in shaping the economic destiny of Uganda.

Pastor Jessica will also be a VIP speaker at a Youth Forum where she will empower Ugandan youth in the UK on What makes an individual “tick”?

Girl Power ministries hosts the largest annual women’s event in Uganda for the last ten years.

The organisation’s distinctiveness lies in its diverse inter-denominational composition and a well curved out niche of recognising that women were uniquely fashioned by God to play a complementary rather than a competitive role alongside men to achieve the greater good of society.

Pastor Jessica Kayanja is the best-selling author of “Through It All” and “Girl Power” among others.

As an International Speaker, she has spoken to various congregations in Africa, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and South Korea.

She is the CEO of Robert Kayanja Ministries and together with her husband, they Pastor Miracle Centre Cathedral Rubaga, the largest church in Uganda.

She is a Director at the Channel 44 Television Station and has been a guest on studio 53 and Africa Magic DSTV a program that highlights influential people in Africa.

Pastor Jessica Kayanja is a graduate of International Relations from Makerere University and holds an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities (Honoris Causa) from the United Graduate Collage and Seminary for pioneering Economic Empowerment of Women in Self-help projects like Girl Power.

She has also been awarded a degree in Theology Honors’ in the Category of Distinction from the Heartfelt Institute of Ministry in Zimbabwe.

This event was graced by Uganda’s Prominent Ladies including the First Lady Of the Republic Of Uganda Maama Janet Museveni,The Chief Marketing Officer Of MTN, The Commissioner General Of Uganda Revenue Authority, The Executive Director Of PPDA,Team Leader JLOS and The Deputy General Inspector Of Police to mention but a few.

Pastor Jessica runs a weekly women’s Prayer Clinic every Saturday morning that She has termed a “Women’s War Zone” where women present their concerns to the Almighty God. The Women war within the confines of the Word of God.

Pastor Jessica is married to the well-known international evangelist Pastor Robert Kayanja and together they have three lovely children, Robert Jr (21) and twin girls (18) Kirstein and Kristiana.

At the Uganda Convention-UK we are thrilled and excited to host Pastor Jessica Kayanja at the 6th Ugandan Convention in London.

The overall objective of the Convention is to promote investment to Uganda and contribute to its sustainable development. It proposes options for innovative financing for economic transformation in Uganda. The Forum will focus on policy options and strategies for mobilizing investment, opportunities and financing options.

The Convention is renowned as having the highest level of both Ugandan and UK governmental and business speakers.  This year, the essential topics most prevalent to East Africa (Uganda), will be addressed by both VIP speakers and Guests of Honour from Uganda, Nigeria and the UK.
