Besigye Finally Granted Bail
FDC presidential candidate in the Feb 18 Elections has been granted bail of Sh100m not cash.
Justice Masalu Musene said court was impressed by the high calibre of sureties presented by the FDC icon.

Kizza Besigye who has been on remand at Luzira Prison since May 16 has been told to restrain from violence for as long as the trial is on and Starting July 26, he is expected to report to court once in every two weeks.
On the issue of Dr Besigye’s defiance campaign, Justice Musene said that he cannot discuss it because the matter is before the Constitutional Court.
