StarQt Awards 2015 Held During Masquerade Party
Over the weekend, Ugandans based in South Africa were treated to an exclusive Masquerade Party held at Bedfordview city hall in Johannesburg, South Africa.
StarQt awards were also held at the same event and winners walked away with their accolades.
Winners included Bikwasi Haruna who won the Best Link to Uganda award, Ivan Juuko scooped the best Athlete award and Sarah Mirembe won the woman of substance award.
Other winners were; Best Enterpreneur – Ivan Ssemwanga, People’s Choice-Sauya Junior, Community Person of the Year – Dumba Adams, Best Chairperson – Mukwaya Shafik, Best Dressed Male – Ssekajja Lionel, Best Dressed Female – Valeria Kalanda, Man of substance – Katumba Shafik, Patriotic person – Judy Ssemugabi, Music artist of the year – Mafia 1, Music video of the year – Tumbapane By Face Off, Vocal artist of the year – Athern, Best DJ – DJ Rayz, Most outstanding male youth – Baguma Joe, Most outstanding female youth – Minah Haza, Best link to Uganda – BTT by Haruna Bikwasi, Humanitarian of the year – Hajji Medi Mthupi, Best educational college – Sandton Technical College, Miss Starqt Africa 2015 – Shameelah Mthupi, Mr. Starqt Africa 2015 – Karim Hassan, Best music group – Xesi Entertainment, Best car owner – Katsha, Best promoter – Sezannah Zai, Comedian of the year – Master Nasser, Most outstanding group – Rich Rang
