While heading to Munyonyo to meet the president, musicians little knew that it would backfire in a blink of an eye.
The first musician to taste the wrath of the fans is Juliana Kanyomozi who took to her Facebook to ask for votes in the ongoing coke studio Africa competition.
Upon reading the message, her followers turned the situation into some sort of verbal war zone, as they threw tantrums and ranted to the songstress.
“M7 army and police have smart phones too and MBs, they’ll vote you!” a fan angrily threw shade at her.
As comments started bulging, more fury took over the Ugandan fans, advising Juliana to post on the State House page, since they can also vote.
“Post your nonsense on the state house page….. Let NRM vote for you” another fan hit at her.
However, the ‘Twalina Omukwano’ singer couldn’t hold it any longer and hit back with a long post, citing the fact that she is also a Ugandan with the right to choose her candidate.
“There’s no need to use abusive, disrespectful, judgmental and insensitive language towards each other simply because of our different beliefs. That is not going to add any value to you or me” she said.
Shockingly, the singer told fans they are very free to support her or not, but that won’t stop her from making her independent choices.
“You also have the choice to support me in this musical journey or not to. I see absolutely no problem in that” Juliana said.
