Former SC Villa boss Chris Mubiru has today morning been convicted of Sodomy.
Buganda Road Chief magistrate Flavia Nabakooza says that Mubiru was found guilty of having canal knowledge against order of nature against Emmanuel Nyanzi, 18.
Nabakooza based her ruling on the evidence presented by prosecution and it was sufficient to pin the former SC Villa Manager.
Evidence presented by Pastor Solomon Male successfully argued that Mubiru had sexual intercourse with a male person against the order of nature contrary to Section 145(a) of the Penal Code Act.
Mubiru was arrested on December 15, 2009 and detained at Katwe police station upon his return from abroad where he was hiding in order to avoid being convicted.
Magistrate Flavia Nabakooza set September 18 as a day for sentencing Chris Mubiru.
Mubiru is liable for 18 years in prison under Section 1 (29) of the Penal Code Act.
