Nile Breweries have renewed their partnership with FUFA in a new 4 year deal worth Shs4bn towards Uganda Cranes activities.
Nile Breweries Marketing Director Daniel Ogong revealed that the company has decided to renew their partnership with the Cranes after a successful marriage.
The unveiled four-year sponsorship package will see part of the cash Shs1.8bn, go directly to directly go to FUFA with reason to fund national team activities while Shs2.2bn will promote the national team on various media platforms.
“It is a pleasure to us as Nile Breweries to sponsor the Uganda Cranes, as a brand we take special pride in partnerships that bring us together as Ugandans and the Cranes is one such platform,” Ogong stated
“We have decide to renew our partnership with the Cranes having noticed that the old one has been fruitful, it clearly shows how we as a company are committed at supporting Ugandan sport because we are not only involved in football but also in other sports disciplines, but this is just to say we are fully behind you,” he added.
Daniel Ogong also handed over Shs54M as the Cranes welfare; the amount was collected from the promotions organized last year in a campaign “Cranes Na-Mutima”.
FUFA was represented by Vice President Justus Mugisha, CEO Edgar Watson, Cranes Head Coach Micho Sredojevic and his deputy Moses Basena while Richard Kasagga was the only player at the event.

The contract also confirms Rwenzori Water as the official water provider of the Cranes.
