Ugandan born striker and former Gor Mahia goal poacher, Daniel ‘Mzee’ Sserunkuma has joined Armenian top league outfit, Ulisses Football Club on a two year deal.
Sserunkuma has been a free agent ever since he quit Tanzanian side, Simba Sports Club with the player having spent only eight months on his contract.
Before his switch to Ulisses FC, the Cranes striker was linked to return his former club and Kenyan Premier League Champions Gor Mahia FC but the deal was let down due to failure to meet the deadline date for the Kenyan transfer window.
His new club Ulisses FC has won the Armenia- Yerevan Premier league once in 2011 and finished runners up behind 14 time record league winners, Pyunik FC.
“We have got Sserunkuma Dan and other players in Africa who will be joined by those who have been training – Gyozalyan Narek, Narek Davtyan and Artashes Arakelyan,” a statement reads at the official website for Ulisses FC.
