Hundreds of students, who have been pursuing their studies at tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia’s Kampala International School, have successfully accomplished their studies and all awarded with Diplomas and Certificates at their graduation ceremony held last week at the school’s premises in Kampala.

Besides other business ventures, Dr. Sudhir is one of the World’s leading tycoons who treasures education than anything else especially when it comes to girl-child education in Uganda. Currently, he owns schools like; KISU, Delhi Public International School, Kampala Parents’ School, Victoria University, among others.
While speaking recently, to Kinyansano Girls’ High School in Rukungiri District during a fundraising function where he was invited as the guest of honour, he said that, “Educating the girls, will be the only lead to development in Uganda.”
On record, Kampala International School Uganda which offers an international education to students between 2 and 19 years of age, sits on about 14 acres of land and it bases on the English National Curriculum for the Primary School through Year-9 in the Secondary School and from there, students study for the internationally recognized Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma, all examined at different levels.
The school which was built in 1993, has got close to 58 full-time teaching staff, recruited around the world and its  currently has an enrollment of about 600 students who come from different parts of the world.

Sudhir said that, Students at KISU have access to  four science laboratories, three computer labs, three practice music rooms, three performance areas, and indoor gym, outdoor basketball court, a 25m eight-lane competition pool, two libraries, five acres of playing fields and smart boards in most classrooms, among others.
