Sudanese Ambassador Attacked, Robbed

Security operatives in Kampala have started a serious hunt for unknown assailants who attacked the Residence of the Sudan Ambassador to Uganda in upper hill of a splashy Kampala suburb of Kololo.

H.E Ambassador Abdel Bali H. Kabir aged 55year was attacked last week by unknown armed thugs who managed to penetrate into his mansion and took off with valuable that were in the house.

According to security sources who preferred anonymity revealed to us that gunmen raided the premises at around 4am, chloroformed the security personnel of Ambassador before making their way into the mansion where they robbed valuable assets as the Ambassador was busy snoring.

When Ambassador woke up, he found his house had been broken into.  He went to Kiira road police station when he reported a case of robbery and theft under vide SD 30/01/05/2015.

While recording a statement, Ambassador revealed that he slept peacefully like any other normal person but was shocked to find that was robbed.

“When I woke up, I found my doors open and my property stolen so I rushed outside and asked my body guards of what had happened,” stated the ambassador.

The stolen items included; inside tracking and Security cameras, two mobile phones, a laptop full of investigative information and two personal wallets which contained almost 30000usd

Police from Kiira road visited the scene and took the samples as the investigations are on going to arrest the culprits.

Detectives went on to interrogate two of his personal body guards when they were at the time of burglary and were later left to guard on.
