Uganda police has today morning raided the residence of suspected Al shaabab linked terrorists in Kyengera, South West of Kampala.
During the raid, three suspected terrorists were netted from the scene.
Eyewitnesses reveal that before the arrest, detectives and forensic experts first stationed at the house and all roads leading there were closed.
They further revealed that there is heavy deployment in Kyengera but police has called upon citizens to remain calm and be more vigilant.
While at the scene, Inspector General of Police Kale Kayihura who arrived amidst tight security addressed journalists before heading to the house where the suspected terrorists are.
The arrest and raid comes just days after Police netted a suspected Al shaabab terrorist at Ark Hostel in Wandegeya.
Last week, Al shaabab terrorists attacked Garrisa University in Kenya and killed over 148 students leaving others critically injured.
