Nigerian singer Tiwatope Savage Balogun famously known as Tiwa Savage is set to headline the Airtel Women’s day celebrations that will be held on 8th March.
The concert will be held at Kati Kati grounds Lugogo as the country joins the rest o the world to commemorate the international women’s day.
This has left several fan excited since they will be seeing Tiwa Savage live on stage performing some of her major hit songs.
She will be performing alongside Uganda’s cream de la cream divas like Rema, Irene Ntale, Cindy, Sheebah, Keko, Lillian Mbabazi as well as the recently crowned Airtel Trace music star winner Sandra Suubi.
Capital Fm’s Flavia Tumusiime will be the MC of the day and Only women will perform considering the theme of the day.
Who is Tiwa Savage?
She is a Nigerian R&B singer who released her debut single “Without My Heart” in 2011. She has co-written songs for other artists, like Fantasia Barrino’s “Collard Greens & Cornbread.
She sang the songs “Love Me (x3)” and “Kele Kele,” which are partially performed in her native language of Yoruba.
She attended Berklee College of Music and graduated in 2007. She made The X Factor UK and got into the final twenty-four.
