Uganda People’s Defense Forces has heavily deployed at Gen David Sejusa’s home in Naguru.
Witnesses say the army has sealed off Sejusa’s compound and no one is allowed to enter or leave the premises.
UPDF spokesperson, Lt Col Paddy Ankunda, confirmed to that he is aware of the deployment.
“Yes, it is true but there is no cause for alarm,” Ankunda stated.
Ankunda said the General has been warned against breaking the law and that if he continued, he would be arrested.
“Being a lawyer, he knows the consequences of his actions.”
When pushed to explain if the deployment was in relation to the impending arrest of the renegade general, Ankunda declined to comment.
“That is according to you,” he said
Sejussa press yesterday that he was not afraid of arrest or detention anymore because he saw the worst in exile.
He said government agents had already tried to kill him thrice on the streets of London where he spent a year.
