Police in Kasaali village, Kabonera Sub County in Masaka district are holding a 35 year old man over defiling his 14-year old step daughter.
Robert Ssinga (35) a resident of Kasaali village in Kabonera Sub County was caught last night at around 4am by his wife Regina Nakabugo.
According to the victim whose names are withheld, his step father had already defiled her three times before he was caught red handed by her mother.
Nakabugo says that she became concerned when she noticed her husband steathily leaving their room to her daughters.
She says that once she saw Ssinga enter her daughter’s room, she ran to the Kasaali LC I chairman Haji Kamaadi Kaweesi and reported the matter. Kaweesi with the village defence secretary identified as Majid Nsubuga returned to the house and caught Ssinga in the act.
The in charge of Kyanjale police post Venansi Nuwagaba confirmed the arrest of Ssinga and said that the suspect will be taken to Masaka police station where he will be charged with aggravated defilement of his step daughter who is under the age of eighteen years.
It is alleged that the accused person is also a drug addict.
