President M7 To Speak At London Investment Summit

President Museveni is in London to attend 2-day Global African Investment Summit. The summit will host Pan-African project owners, both public and private sector together with 450 international investors to transact.

The Global African Investment Summit (TGAIS) is due 20-21st October 2014 at the SAVOY Hotel in London, UK.

At the London Summit, President Museveni will speak on the panel: ‘REALIZING AFRICA’S INVESTMENT POTENTIAL’ along with Rwanda president Pual Kagame and President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana.

Uganda will at this meeting solicit for investors to finance projects in key industries including agriculture, infrastructure and natural resources.

Around 136 bankable projects worth a combined total of $246Bn will be presented at the summit, according to Olusegun Obasanjo, former president of Nigeria and chairman of the event.

  1. With this kind of approach Africa becomes “the continent of the future” for foreigners but not the Africans themselves! Why does Government not encourage the knowledgeable to team up with the the rich eg. Kwagalana group to carry out investiment projects? This would becthe real value addition!
