On September 18, President Museveni fired his close ally Amama Mbabazi and replaced him with Dr Ruhakana Rugunda.

The caucus will also focus on the strategies that should be executed if NRM is to triumph in 2016general elections.

Insiders have revealed that the caucus will move to fault the axed premier for the disputes that erupted after NRM party primaries in the run-up to the 2011 parliamentary elections.

Amama fell out with the President when he moved to oppose Museveni’s sole candidature in the 2016 presidential elections.

  1. Why torment a fellow for greed of power? Is it worthy it? Having different opinion is normal and health as it can make change to become a better person. Poor Amama it is all happening thick and fast.

    1. There has never been anything like NRM is a pro-people movement. Museveni fears opposition within since he knows that he is unpopular. He therefore uses all dirty tricks to ring fence chairman ship of the party. Whatever is happening to Mbabazi will once catch up with Museveni. His, will just be too bad.

  2. Mbabazi come from Kanungu where there are so many people of Museveni blood who migrated and settled in kanungu and should have understood them better than anybody else. How come for us who watch the President from a distance understand him better and we can predict his next move than people very close to him. Wait when he start telling Rugunda to do embarrassing tasks in order to show that bakiga are behind him.

    1. You must be really naive. What makes you think you know Museveni better than Mbabazi? Mbabazi is waging a political struggle. He has strategy for this struggle and is prosecuting it with finesse. The removal of Mbabazi from the position of Prime Minister is just an aspect of that struggle. you really need to listed to Dr Busingye Kabumba. His statement is found at: httpsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss://

To reach Dr Busingye Kabumba’s remarks, skip aall those boring utterances of Museveni.
