KCCA lost Sunday’s game against Djibouti’s Telecom but Friday’s 2-1 victory over Kenya’s Gor Mahia had been a postive tip-off. George Nsimbe’s men are third in group B with three points same as fourth placed Burundians Atletico but are just above on goals scored and thus the Ugandan champions must win or at least draw this game to keep their chances of progression to the quarter finals alive.

Rwanda’s APR face off against Telecom of Djibouti.

Meanwhile,Tanzanian reigning champions AzamFC were held to a 2-2- draw by South Sudan side Altabara in entertaining group A match played at Nyamirambo stadium on Tuesday 12 August.
