Norbert Mao, the Democratic Party (DP) President General has been discharged from Nairobi Hospital in Kenya. He spent more than two weeks in the Nairobi based health facility after a referral from St. Mary’s Hospital-Lacor.
He was suffering from acute pneumonia.
Dan Kidega, a member of the East African Legislative Assembly confirms that Mao is now in a good health condition although still in Nairobi. Early today, Mao’s Brother Dusman Okee said that doctors had advised the politician to rest for at least two weeks while he is being monitored from Nairobi.
Okee adds that despite his poor health, some close friends and journalists will be allowed to share a light moment with him.
Mao was the chairman Gulu and also the MP Gulu Municipality before he became Democratic Party President in 2010, he contested the 2011 elections coming third place after the Forum for Democratic change Leader Kiiza Besigye.
