Uganda has remained static according to the latest FIFA World Soccer Rankings released on Thursday 5th June 2014.
The country remained in position 86th globally with 390 points but slipped two places on the continent as they have dropped from 18th to 20th.
Uganda’s biggest rise since Micho’s appointment was in August 2013 when the country rose three places to perch at number 77 in the world from 80 the previous month of July.
Cote d’Ivoire has also dropped two places from 21st to 23rd in the world but remains the best ranked African nation in the world with 809 points.
Reigning World and European champion Spain maintained top spot with 1485 points.
Germany, Brazil, Portugal and Argentina occupying the second, third, fourth and fifth position. Switzerland, Uruguay, Colombia, Italy and England complete the top ten.
In the CECAFA region, Uganda remains top with Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Sudan and Burundi following in that order.
