Speaking to Red Pepper Online edition on Tuesday June 17, Twinamatsiko said that despite recording good performance during their first league season, his team is still young and needs to be fully given play time rather than letting out players. Instead his desire is to add more players into the squad.
The tactician confirmed that, he plans to bring on board the strikers before the transfer window closes so as to adequately prepare for the upcoming league season.
“My philosophy is to retain young players in order to nurture their talents and provide motivation to them. I will only be looking for two strikers for the second leg, the youthful tactician said.
2013-14 was an exciting campaign, an emotional rollercoaster for The Saints ending the season in number four and missed the play offs by a whisker.
