Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) has successfully defended the FUFA Super league title following a 3 – 1 home win over arch rivals Sports Club Villa at the KCCA Stadium in Lugogo on Tuesday.
Former SC Villa player, Steven Bengo opened the scoring for KCCA with a 21st minute strike before defender Ronnie Kisekka made it 2 – 0 by the half time mark.
KCCA accumulates 60 points from 30 games, 1 ahead of ahead of second placed Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) who labored to win at home courtesy of a late Savio Kabugo headed effort.
William Wadri made it three before Kiseeka a deflection gave SC Villa a late consolation.
At Kavumba Recreational Stadium, Benson Ociti scored a hat trick for Police and help his team win 3 – 0 at home.
Nasser Muzamiru and Sserubogo scored for Entebbe in their 2 all draw at Wankulukuku against Express.
At the Bombo Stadium, Simba beat Proline 2 – 1 to send the already relegated Proline side to the FUFA Big league next season.
At Mbale Municipal Stadium, home side, CRO lost 0 – 1 to the visiting Soana courtesy of Francis Olaki’s penalty.
