Police has ruled out foul play in the death of Michelle Mwebaze, wife of the late Col Jet Mwebaze.
Michele was found dead near her home in Ntinda, a Kampala suburb.

According to police, Michelle Mwebaze collapsed and died on Monday night near the road. Earlier, there was suspicion that she could have been murdered. Police had also launched an investigation to find out what might have killed her.

However, after post mortem was done, doctors found out that late Mwebaze just collapsed and died.

Ibin Senkumbi, Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson has confirmed the postmortem result saying that she died of natural causes. Ssenkumbi says the police will not continue with the investigations since medical reports did not indicate murder.

He says the body of the late has already been handed over to the relatives for burial. Col. Jet Mwebaze, one of the most daring commanders of the Luweero Bush war, died in a plane crash in 1998 in Rwenzori Mountains during operations against the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels. He was a young brother to former army commander Major General James Kazini, who was killed in November 2009 in a domestic brawl.
