Uganda Cross-country coach Abdallah Mohammed has released the squad for upcoming Africa Cross-country Championships with 2013 National Half Marathon Championships winner Daniel Rotich (1:02:2) featuring prominently.
The 40-man strong team will eventually be trimmed to 24.
The team is set to camp in the Bukwo highlands, though the federation is still looking for some money to take the team to camp for the continental meet that is due March 16 at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
The team also has 2010 Commonwealth Games double (5,000m/10,000m) champion Moses Kipsiro who finished fourth in Saturday’s National Half Marathon Championships in Mbale, his first road race.
