Coach Haruna Kebba’s Kiira Young FC on Tuesday evening moved to second place in the FUFA Super League after a 2-0 victory over hosts Proline FC in a match played at the Lugogo Stadium.

A goal in each half by Samuel Kayongo and Patrick Kaddu was enough to help Kiira Young close the gap on table leaders SC Vipers.

“I am happy that we played good football today and we shall keep working hard in the second round,” said Kebba after the game.

Kebba, a former referee, said in the post-match interview that he expects the second round of the league to be a very close contest.
