Organisers say more than 10 drivers have so far scheduled with the local organizing committee with the most formable being John Burrows who returns from a six-month ban and will drive a Subaru N8.
Others include Dr Ashraf Muhamed (Subaru N10), Samuel Watendwa (Toyota Celica), Jafari Kamya (Subaru N4), Ismail Ortega (Toyota Runex), Paul Kafumbe (Toyota Corona), Isaac Ssozi, Subaru N4), Mansor Lubega (Toyota Turno), Josha Kato (Toyota Levin), Isa Bossa Kalyesubula (Subaru N4). Entries close on February 21 at FMU offices in Lugogo.
The event will start with a super special stage in Misaali – Masaka on February 28 at Shell Buddu before cars head to Mbarara for four sections. Cars will be checked on 28th at Shell Buddu.
Ponsiano Lwakataka is the defending champion.
