Junior Yunus Sentamu, the 19-year old Uganda Cranes striker will reportedly be the subject of a transfer bid from South African Premiership giants Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town in the January window or in time for next season Red Pepper Online Sport exclusively reveals.
Ssentamu was the new star for the Uganda team as they finished third in Group B at CHAN 2014. The SC Vipers striker scored all the three goals for Uganda in the tournament and his individual input and his style caught the eyes of many teams and scouts.
“The two clubs can only get in contact and decide at the end of the Ugandan season probably, when the time comes,” a respected South African football writer told this paper.
“But i can’t say that they want to buy any one player because they’re interested in a number of players including Ghanian midfielder Michael Helegbe and Zimbabwe’s Kudakwashe Mahachi,” he added.
