Nkumbi Crosses To Mubs | BEACH SOCCER

beach_01Defending Pepsi Beach soccer league champions St Lawrence University has lost its leading scorer Brian Nkubi to Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in the ongoing transfer pf players.

MUBS will welcome the arrival of Nkubi as they are certain that he will continue with his rich vein in form that saw him finish the first round of the beach league with 20 goals in seven matches.

He was also named the Most Valuable player of the 2013 Pepsi University Beach Soccer League. Nkubi is not the only player who has made a move in this transfer window.

Yasser Mugerwa who features for SC Victoria University in the FUFA Super League but is currently in South Africa for national duty at the CHAN tournament has joined Nkumba Select. Mugerwa had taken a break from the game after Nkumba University failed to register their team for the league this season.

St Lawrence was quick to join the market by replacing the departed Nkubi when they signed Erisa Sekisambu (URA FC) and Ayub Kisalita (Sc Villa).

The second round of the Pepsi National Beach soccer league kicks off this Sunday at Lido Beach Entebbe.
