Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court in Kampala has convicted Adam Kalungi for manslaughter in the Cerinah Nebanda case.

Adam Kalungi’s 5 co-accused have been acquitted of the same charge.

It is alleged that on the 14th of December, while at Buziga, a Kampala suburb, Kalungi caused the unlawful death of Cerina Nebanda.

Cerinah Nebanda passed away on December 14 at Mukwaya General Clinic in Kampala and  an autopsy report revealed that multiple chemicals including cocaine and heroin were found in her blood samples.

After her death, Kalungi took to his heels after delivering the former legislator together with  friend to Mukwaya General Clinic where she was pronounced dead.

    1. Now that’s the multi million dollar question. Why didn’t they allow the pathologist trusted by the family and flanked by the parliament to do the job? why be one sided?

    2. very unfortunate for you Jonathan, when will u ever pass a positive comment? would your utopia govt(if you had one) had allowed such act of the pathologist? why steal tissues? for us who see the government did what it was supposed to do, samples were sent to the best laboratories and results brought back.

    3. For your argument as a doubt a good judge who believes in justice could have sent this case out of court, there is lack of enough evidence and evidence was tampered with, period
