FUFA Super league debutants Bright Stars has dropped three players and veteran midfielder Willy Kyambadde has been moved to the technical team as they prepare for the second round of the season.

The three comprise Saka Robert, Francis Sembatya and Rashid Engule who head coach Livingstone Mbabazi says were dropped on nonperformance grounds while Kyambadde has struggled with a calf injury this season

“We have dropped three players from the 25 I had,” Mbabazi who doubles as Uganda U-17 coach told RedPepper Online in a one on one in Kawempe.

“I now want to bolster my ranks as I have already signed Sharif Sozi Kamodi (Stegota FC) and Sula Sebunza (Simba FC) who I believe will withstand the FSL heat. I am therefore calling upon any talented player from any league to visit us for trials at our training ground before the season resumes.
