URA Edge Closer To FSL Summit

URA closed the gap on the top three in the FUFA Super League on Friday after beating Proline FC 3-1. The win pushed Coach Paul Nkata’s team to fourth place behind defending Champions KCCA FC at the halfway stage of the season.

URA-Paul-Nkata-300“We need to get back to the drawing board for the second round of the League. There are so many things we must change,” said Nkata.
Owen Kasule and Frank Kalanda who were both left out of the Uganda Cranes team at the on-going Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup together with Feni Ali scored for URA.
The result was a big boost for URA after losing 3-2 to KCCA FC earlier in the week.
And Proline,  who also fell 2-0 to Bidco FC in the week, scored through Andrew Kidega and they finish the first round in 12th position ahead of troubled Express FC.
Action will continue on December 3 with Kiira Young playing away to army side Simba FC at the Bombo Stadium. Kiira Young will be out to recover from their 2-1 defeat to SC Villa on November 2.
