Reports reaching our sports desk has it that FUFA Big League side, The Saints FC, has parted ways with six players.
An insider at Saints who sort to remain anonymous confirmed the news though he coy on naming names.
“Yes,some players have been dropped but they are yet to get their letters, so I can’t name names,” he said.
The insider also said that more players will be dropped as the Mukono side seek to create space for new faces in the coming second round that starts in January.
When RedPepper Online edition called club publicist Gazzaman Kodili for a comment, a football diehard instead revealed that defenders Semanda, Okello and midfielders Ceasor Olega, Rogers Ndiwagana, Richard Epieru and another unnamed player had been loaned to division one side Mukono Pirates for six month.
It is however understood that the club which faces Artland Koboko on Saturday at Namboole Stadium are currently assesing 8 new players for possible registration.
Among them is a very talented CRO defensive midfielder according to our sources.
