Ndejje Win Swimming Gold

SwimmingNdejje University regained the swimming title in the Inter-University Games on Wednesday.

The Luweero institution who are overall reigning Games champions clinched titles for both men and women after fending off competition from six different universities. Swimming was held at Kampala Parents School.

The one-week championship that is expected to end on December 21 will also be part of the centenary celebrations as UCU marks 100 years since their pioneer institute Bishop Tucker College was founded.

Men: Ndejje top with 623pts, MUK 2nd with 610pts, UCu 3rd with 370pts, KIu 4th with 295pts, MUBS 5th with 125 pts, Kyambogo 6th with 86 points

Women: Ndejje-657 pts, MUK 2nd with 616 pts, KIU 3rd 479pts, UCU 4th 274pts, Kyambogo 5th 98pts, MUBS last with no point.
