Portraying all sorts fashion statements, over 2,000 Kampala holiday-makers from different schools around the country are expected to throng the Leavers Rock slated for this Saturday at Kyadondo Rugby Club and Mountain Dew has given Buzz Group Africa Shs100 million towards the successful organisation of the biggest leavers’ party for high school students.
In a nutshell, it will be a mixture of trendy and outdated style in a typical fun-fledged high school dance that has them screaming to DJs’ music mix. It is just as well that alcohol is not allowed.
They will have a constant flow of free Mountain Dew, which helped them refresh amidst their dancing competitions to win Dew goodies like music players, T-shirts, steppers, flash disks, bandanas, among others.
“Buzz Leavers Rock fits in well with brand Mountain Dew’s attributes. It is an event to let loose and show your bold, daring, different and adventurous side. As Mountain Dew, we are telling them we recognize all this and are giving them the platform to amplify that. This is going to be the most Xtreme high school bash this year,” said Timothy Luzinda, the Mountain Dew brand manager.
Entrance fee is shs10, 000 with a free Mountain Dew soda and a coupon for the bull roast.
