Kenya Leading Sudan|CECAFA Final

KenyaKenyan national team Harambee Stars started their GOtv CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup final against Sudan on a positive footing, with Alan Wanga finding the back of the net just four minutes after the half hour mark.

The goal was scored when Wanga rises highest to nod home a sublime cross from David ‘Calabar’ Owino.

Falcons took all of 22 minutes to settle into the match, with their first threatening attempt coming through Tahir, who forced Kenya’s keeper Duncan Ochieng to an extended dive.

However, they are yet to effectively penetrate the Kenyan defence later o in the game that kicked off at 1830 hrs local time at the Nyayo National Stadium this Thursday 12 December 2013.

The hosts would in fact have taken the lead after just 5 minutes had Clifton Miheso goal bound effort been well connected by Edwin Lavasta.
