Egypt Vs Uganda – Airforce Stadium, Cairo
Mulitin ‘Mitcho’ Sredojevic faces the second major test of Uganda Cranes credentials on Wednesday his side tackle six-time African Champions for the second time in three days in an international friendly game at the Airforce Stadium, Cairo.
Cranes suffered a 2-0 reverse to the Pharaohs on Monday night and hope to overturn proceedings 41 hours later at the same venue after an earlier scheduled international friendly with Iraq fell through.
Zamalek duo of Ahmed Eid and Hazem Emam scored for Bob Bradley’s side in the 7th and 66th minutes respectively.
However, having failed to win in North Africa on four attempts with the Cranes the 44-year-old Serb believes he knows how to get the better of Bradley.
“It is very difficult at this moment to improve with Egypt because they won the last two games against us, but he (Bradley) will find a way because he is a very good manager,” said Micho.
“He knows the way we play, so he will try different things. But we know things about Bob, too. I coached in North Africa before so I know exactly the way Egypt plays.”
“My young side played a good game on Monday but lost concentration in defence which exposed us but am happy they are getting more exposure,” Micho added.
Egypt is in preparations to face Ghana in the 2014 World Cup play offs first leg on October 15 while Uganda will use the game to fine tune the squad for the upcoming 2013 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup and Chan finals due in South Africa early next year.
