Livingstone Mbabazi, the head coach of Bright Stars heads to Lugazi to face URA FC in a buoy-ant mood after declaring that he has no more injury worries. Prior to the game against BUL FC last Tuesday at Nakivubo, Abubakar Tabula, Paul Ddumba, Willy Kyambadde, Hussein Mayanja and Frank Ssembatya were nursing injuries. But Mbabazi told Pepper Sport last evening that he was spoilt for choice. His confidence was rooted in Hassan Kikooyo who scored a vital goal as Bright Stars earned a 1-all draw against BUL after coming on from the bench.

“He is very intelligent with the aerial situations. That is why he tactically headed the ball away from BUL FC Keeper Frank Oringa” said Mbabazi.

However, Kikooyo is battling for a starting role with four other strikers Anthony Bongole, Meddie Kakeeto, Francis Ssembatya and Hussein Mayanja ready to battle. Bright Stars are tenth on the table with seven points while URA dropped to second place with 14 points after a goalless draw against

Soana. Coach Paul Nkata was optimistic that earning a draw at Kavumba on Friday was commendable.

“I am feeling good because we are yet to lose,” Nkata said, but now we must look ahead.”

URA is yet to lose at home this season and with free scoring Ali Feni, rock hard Jonathan Mugabi, Frank Kalanda and fi rst choice goalkeeper Brian Bwete returning, Nkata is over the moon.

The four including Saidi Kyeyune, who was a second half substitute had travelled with the Cranes to Egypt for friendly matches.

Yasin Mugabi, who had an impressive performance against Soana, retains his place in goal ahead of skipper Brian Bwete, while Mugabi returns to central defence alongside Sam Ssenkoomi.

James Kasibante, who was a second half substitute was handed a starting berth with Elisha Ssekisambu starting as a lone striker as Frank Kalanda is reportedly out with Malaria. Serb Milos Ilic returns after an injury but he will have to contend for a place on the bench with Nkata keeping faith in Allan Munaaba on left fullback.

Augustine Nsumba, Martin Opolot, Emmanuel Ngama and Elukanah Nkugwa are in the treatment room.
